How to Care for Lipstick Plants

When cared for correctly, Lipstick plants are a joy to have!

  • Lighting: They love light! But not direct light. Give them the brightest indirect spot you have in your home and they wll be happy.
  • Water: Happiest when you let the top 1" of the soil dry before watering. The Lipstick plants will drop leaves when over watered, and shrivel when over watered. Simple right!
  • Temperature: Liptstick plants are happiest in temperates between 75-85F. You can be slightly out of that range, but not much if you want to keep them happy.
