You can also see them at the front desk where guests are often greeted at. Having this will surely add some charm to the place.

Why do you need a Pink Anthurium?

A pink anthurium is one of the most beautiful indoor flowering plants that you can add to your home. Everyone would be delighted to see them in your home. Aside from that, an anthurium is great at purifying the air so not only will you have a beautiful plant in your home but this plant will be able to remove the air pollutants in your house and keep you away from breathing polluted air. They are also known for being very low-maintenance plant that you can easily take care of.

How to Care for Pink Anthurium In Your Home?

Taking care of a pink anthurium is pretty much the same as taking care of a normal anthurium. When it comes to their sunlight needs, these plants want the brightest indirect light possible. They will surely grow happy and healthy when they get it. It is not recommended to place them in an area that gets direct sunlight for they can easily get burnt.

In watering, they are not that sensitive as to them needing too much water like every day, but rather they only need watering when their soil is dry. The best way to check it is by checking if the soil of the plant is dry two to three inches from the top. This is the only time that you water them for this is just the right amount of water that they will be needing. It is best to remember that giving anything more than that will be overwatering them which can cause harm to the plant

Pink anthuriums prefer their soil light. Since there aren’t specific soils that are available for these plants, the best soil you can give these plants is the same soil that you put in orchids. Preferably a well-draining, coarse potting mix that is mixed with some peat moss and sand.

Anthurium plants like it on the warmer side of temperature, they are at their happiest when their environments are around 75 to 85 degrees Fahrenheit. But when placing them, it is nice to remember that you should never put them near an air conditioner or beside the heater or fireplace for they cannot withstand extreme temperatures.

These plants won’t need frequent feeding but it is still nice to give them some especially during their growing season which is the best time to give them fertilizer as they will reward you with prosperous and more healthy growth. A half-strength, diluted, liquid fertilizer that is given at least once every two weeks is just what this plant needs.

All in all, pink anthurium plants are definitely one of the must-have plants for your home for they not only bring beauty to your home, but they are also easy to take care of which makes them great to keep around the house, and will surely not give you any headache when taking care of them, in addition to that, these plants can purify the air well, hence keeps the air around you clean and purified.

Is Pink Anthurium Toxic To Cats?

If you have a cat or any pet around the house that can bite into your pink anthurium, it is best to keep these plants away from them. Anthurium plant contains harmful crystals when ingested, which might cause some problems. One of the best practices of those that own a cat and an anthurium plant is they keep them away from them as possible. They do not place them in areas where their pets like to hang around. Some might place them in hanging baskets or pots, some may place them in shelves, while others just let it be as they have already trained their cats or pets not to touch the plants in their home.
